1) Can you believe how quickly the time passes? I mean here we are at
summer's end and the clock keeps ticking. Our ride will be here before you
know it -- in a mere 279 days. For me that's yesterday. For you, I hope
it's starting to sound like NOW!

And I'll tell you what, if you don't do a huge rethink on how you view the
present, you are going to get caught with your pants down next summer. One
of the ways you can avoid this is to join us in do mode. In order to do so,
in order to maybe break yourself away, if not partially, from the other
worlds in which you may find yourself consumed, is to volunteer for any one
of the many tasks I regularly suggest in here. This is so because it will
turn up your interest level and more fully engage you in what we are doing.

Now, now, now and it's gone, gone, gone. How many times do I have to remind
you of the urgency of the present in making big stuff happen in the
tomorrow which Roosevelt warns is NOW? And if you keep waiting for a
better tomorrow, you may as well forget being prepared for our ride because
that time will never come.

Yosi Almog knows this as I will show you in #10 below. He wants to begin
training with his young son for their ride across NOW. I find him in my
email a lot with questions about the kind of bike he should ride and other
questions about how he and his son can make their TransAm real. His urgency
I understand. His ride is real!

How many of you are sitting back in daydream mode thinking that maybe you
will get into action next spring? That what I am talking about here is a
fall, a winter and a spring away? That you have plenty of time? Please,
please wake up. Over the years, I have seen all too many failed TransAm
attempts that have been the result of such inadequate preparation.

Denis Waitley in his powerful "Psychology of Winning" tape series uses a
different analogy to wake people up to NOW. He talks about the first
astronauts to walk the moon and how when they got there that their first
words were, "It's just like drill". They had practiced their moon walks
over and over so many times here on earth that when it was real, it was a
second nature experience to them.

We need for your ride to be 'Just like drill". And the only way it can ever
be so is if you recognize that 'Tomorrow is NOW'! Fire up Greenway
Meisters. We're almost ready to rumble at the jungle! Let's get in the NOW
NOW NOW!!
