The fact is, that to do anything in the world worth doing, we must
not stand shivering and thinking of the cold and danger, but jump
in and scramble through as well as we can.

1) As per the words above, one could make an argument for the fact that all
success axioms are held together by the word 'DO'. This is so because
when you really ask yourself, 'how bad DO you want it', if you really
desire a thing, I mean really desire it, the way to it will be revealed to
you if you just get in and DO!

When you just DO the thing, a whole stream of events issues from the
action. By breaking the stagnation and doubt of hanging back in the
grandstands of life, you define what it is to be truly and fully alive when
all you DO is DO!.

Ron Austin, as you will see in #6 below is fully switched on to this
awareness. He is so in the NOW with all of his actions that he radiates a
power so strong that he can't be stopped. As you will see, this man has
DOne so much for our effort here that he is swept away by the momentum of
his own actions.

Andrew Morton proved this to himself last week when he rode down here from
Sacramento. Unwilling to let a little mapping problem hang up his ride, he
'jumped in and scrambled through' (he got into DO mode) from one town to
the next by simply trusting in his intuition to know which strangers to ask
to keep him pointed safely to Santa Cruz.

And believe me, when you are not inert, when you are DOing, you are like a
forest fire that most everyone clears away from to let you through. In
1986, when I announced to my world that I would bike across the US on the
best bike money could buy (when I had none) and that I would create a huge
sensation for the National Head Injury Foundation, I knew it was no doubt
possible because I wasn't limited to a wheelchair or hospital bed any more.
I could DO.

And DO I Did as chronicled in my book "Awake Again". It astounded me when
able bodied people were amazed at the fact that I was only DOing what they
were just as capable of Doing themselves. And that is what we are DOing
here. We are staging rides, holding dances, talking to congress people,
going to trade shows, etc, etc. DOing what we know to DO to build the
Greenway.

Come on DO with us. Ah but DO be careful, Ron Austin and Andrew Morton
might sweep you off to places you never dreamed you'd visit. On a bike!!
