Hard Times is the only one that I have any doubt about. I am absolutely
positive about the others. One source of confusion is King Street Blues'
house beer, called "Virginia Native Brite", brewed by Dominion. The
Union Street Pub, also in Old Town, has a house beer called "Virginia
Native" which is brewed by Virginia Brewing Co. Additionally, the "Virginia
Native Brite" is unfiltered and cloudy with yeast, while the "Virginia
Native" is clear. King Street Blues' "Brite" is an unfiltered version
of Dominion's regular beer and is also available at the Amdo, Roratonga,
and (possibly) the Crow Bar.
The owner of the Amdo is in close contact with the folks at Dominion.
The Amdo is trying to become the first brewpub in Northern Virginia,
and plans on starting out by having Dominion do the initial stages of
brewing. The partially brewed beer would be transported to the Amdo
and aged and served. This info is at least several months old and may
or may not be accurate today.
