Soba (Pho '** revisited)

Continuing with the recent Pho thread (btw, what is the translation of "Pho",
and what is the significance of the trailing two digit number in the name
of the restraunt [e.g., Pho '75 and Pho '99] ?), does anyone know of a decent
place in the area to get Udon Soba? I've tried a couple of Japanese restraunts
in the area, but their soba seems pretty weak...

Thanks for any suggestions,
