You could try the Beautiful Day, which is a hippie/veggie type food
store that has a dining area in back.  However, I've never eaten there
because I only desire to go on the weekends and it's always jam-packed
full!  Which in itself is probably a good review for the food.
It's also a great food store of course.  They are located on Berwyn
Road between route 1 and the railroad tracks on the left hand side
in an inconspicuous row of one story row-buildings, but you'll see it.

I assume you've ruled out Big Boy's in South CP and the Toddle House
in North CP both on route 1.  If you were a little more adventurous,
there is a hole in the wall diner in Hyattsville right before you get
to the ornamental new courthouse, also on route 1.  It's called
"someone's" Diner or Grill, but can't remember the name.  It's rather hard
to spot, so find a reasonable parking place and look for it on foot.
