I'm very fond of Dusit, on University Blvd less than one block
east of Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring. Externally, it looks like a
hole in the wall, but inside it's very attractive and the food is very
good.
To get there from the Beltway, take the Georgia Avenue exit
north. Continue on Georgia until you come to University Blvd, make a
right turn, and Dusit will be on your right.
