I have also eaten at virtually every restaurant in Reston proper, and
agree with Dave Lee, that there's not a lot to offer. I do enjoy Il
Cigno, however, the food is Northern Italian, which I find rather bland
(that's just personal preference, though, the food is well prepared.).
I will recommend the Jasmine Cafe, however, also located in the Lake
Anne Village Center. It also has an outdoor cafe-style seating area,
with a view of the lake. I've eaten there several times, and have never
been disappointed. I'm not sure how to classify the cuisine - the menu
changes with the seasons, and at times has some southwestern influences,
but is usually kind of french. Don't miss the hot artichoke dip appetizer,
it's enough to make a light meal of. Prices have always been quite
reasonable also - $50-$60 for dinner for two with wine.
