Sunil Gupta said to All: > Maharaja on Greenbelt Rd. (across from Goddard SFC) is a great Indian > place. It's small but nicely furnished inside, the proprietoress is > really nice, and the food is quite good. > SG> I'm going to have to respectfully disagree on this one. The portions SG> are skimpy, the service is lousy, and the food is usually greasy and SG> tepid. Siddhartha, in Silver Spring, has much better food, and the SG> prices are great. As long as we're respectfully disagreeing, Maharaja is one of my favorite places, and we've been pleased with the service, extremely pleased with the welcome that we've gotten with our baby along, and have found the portions to be perfectly fine. I hope you just caught them on a bad evening. But in hopes that your standards are just higher than mine, I'm definitely going to check out Siddhartha, too!
