In my opinion the best Indian (vegetarian) food I have had in this country was at a place called Royal Frontier in DC on K or L street I forget which. They didn't seem to use a lot of cream or ghee in their cooking which some Indian places seem to think of as the more the better. A Thal with Chole, Saag Paneer, Mater Paneer, Dhal, Raita, Pulao, samosa, and puris is about $11 and practically enough for two people. The food here tastes the most like the food prepared in India IMO. Tej
