We recently moved to Columbia, and miss being close to Clarendon, where we used to enjoy the Saigon Cafe and the Queen Bee. I love both of these restraurants, but it's almost 100 miles round trip from Columbia! Does anyone know of any good Vietnamese restaurants closer to Columbia. Last weekend we tried Nam's in Weaton. It was only just passable. The food was greasy, the portions not all that generous, the atmosphere not too great, the service was so so, and you got what you paid for - it was cheap, but it was not a terrific meal. Louis P.S. We have had exceptionally good Italian food at Piccolo's in Columbia and Pasta Plus in Laurel!
