What i meant with SoCal style is all the immigrants that
have pretty much migrated from Mexico (Baja side) and now
have transported their cooking around SoCal.  Yes, I am talking
about Baja Calif, La Paz, Los Cabos, etc.  As an example are
the numerous Taco de Mexicos, Taquerias, hole in the wall
places around LA and the suburbs where the 'field workers' go for
food.  Almost all have that distinctive carnitas cooking that I
terribly miss.

Not a big fan of Tex-Mex.  I've been to Texas & Arizona and
tasted food from that side of the country and its quite different.

Taco Bar is next to the Chevron Washingtonian Gas Station.
They have good pozole and great suadero (rib meat) tacos.  Pepitos
is located on Diamond Ave, in Gaithersburg, close to summit station.
They have good carnitas tortas, but again, the taste is just okay.
I believe there is another Pepitos down in DC.  El Mexicano is in the
older strip mall next to the Germantown Town Center.  It's cheap
and its okay and very average tasting.

I have heard of Tacos Caminante & Poblano down near DC or Arlington?
Are they any good?  Is Tippy's Taco in Gaithersburg good also?
