RF> I've heard that the Outback Steak House (there's one in Arlington on Rte RF> 50 and I think another in Reston) are decent. Actually, the Reston one is in Herndon. Superb. There are several others in the metro area.

ANother vote for the Outback Steakhouse. I go to the one in Clifton/Centreville-- on Union Mill Rd < 1/2 mile off Braddock. It is always superb, but don't go if you're impatient or short on time. There is always a wait. There are also Outbacks on Braddock Rd. in Burke and one just off of Old Keene Mill road in Springfield. Gift certificates from Outback saved me on a couple of hard Christmas gifts. I used them for people from Clifton and for friends who live in Tampa, FL

Everyone forgot about Blackie's House of Beef on 22nd St & M in DC. I had the cajun blackened primed rib which was out of this world! Has kind of a New Orleans style to it, and so does the little deli next door which just got finished being redecorated into the N.O. style. Reasonable prices for DC, good atmosphere though a bit noisy I think. +Rick -- Richard "carm" Chimera, Lab Manager | A population of sheep will eventually Human Computer Interaction Lab, U Md. | beget a government of wolves.
