A friend is interested in trying snake; anyone know of a restaurant that might have it? I'd imagine it could be had somewhere in the Southwest (eg: Arizona, not SW DC :-) but I can't think of any place likely here. Alligator would be of interest, too. Thanks! -- -- Chris Shenton css@tron.stx.com Hughes/STX 301-794-5490

Re the availability of snake & alligator in DC: RT's in Alexandria serves a very tasty Alligator stew. I have also bought alligator meat at Fresh Fields in Rockville (at the fish counter). I suspect you could get them to order snake for you as well. Larry -- Lawrence Hunter, PhD. National Library of Medicine Bldg. 38A, MS-54 Bethesda. Everyone says that everyone else says anything they haven't eaten tastes
like chicken. Hmmmmm... Makes you wonder about chicken.
