I recently heard that there was an Ethiopian restaurant in Silver
Spring. Unfortunately, I don't know its name, address, etc. I'd rather
not have to read the Yellow Pages looking for it -- assuming I would
even recognize it when I saw its name. I would greatly appreciate it if
someone can help me with this.

				Thanks!

I dont know the name but it's on Fenton St. in downtown SS, near the corner
of Bonifant (or maybe Thayer). I havent been there yet but have heard it's
good. Please tell us what you think!

Through the help of a number of people, I have found out the name of
the Ethiopian restaurant in Silver Spring. It is called Harar Mesove
and its address is 8222 Fenton St. It is at the corner of Fenton and
Wayne St. (Avenue?) and its phone number is 565-2533. Its hours are 12
- 11:30 PM.

For those who are interested in such things, I have included an
explanation for the restaurant's name below. It was given to me by an
Ethiopian friend of a friend of mine. Since he said the restaurant's
name was Harar Masob, I assume that Masob and Mesove are different
dialects' spellings of the same thing.

Harar is a province of Ethiopia (bordering along Somalia) and
is considerered a cultural mosaic and the place for fun, kind
	of like New Orleans :-)

Masob is a woven structure that is shaped like a cone with a
big round tray on top, which is what you will be eating on when
you go there... It's traditionally how a group of people dine
out of the same huge tray.

I will be going Saturday evening and I will post a review as my work
schedule allows.

Once again, my thanks to all those who helped me in my quest.
