I had a 32 oz steak on Dewey Beach, DE last summer (don't
laugh it was a great deal). Can anyone tell me if there are any
restaurants in the DC area where they serve steaks this size?
Thanks in advance.

The only one I know of is the one my boss had at Morton's of Chicago (in
Georgetowne and Tysons). It is the house special which is so think that
half of the cut is a porterhouse and the other half is a ribeye. This
thing was HUGE!!!

Unfortunately, Morton's is rather expensive. We didn't see the prices on
the menu but I can imagine it was exorbitant due to the exceptional
atmosphere, service and meal.

If you're looking to blow some books and want some great food, try
Morton's. You won't be sorry.

Do you really think it's a good idea to eat this way?

I love staeks. The way I look at it is, now I am 24, in a couple of
years I have to give up a lot of things I like to eat. Well lets say I
won't give it up I'll eat with moderation. I am 215 lbs right now and I think
its okay for my height at this age. Besides I don't eat like this every
week or even every month and I get plenty of excerceise. Once or twice a year
I want just pig out.

If you want a 32 oz. steak, Mortons of Chicago has it.
They're located in Georgetown, Tysons Corner and Manassas.
But, be prepared to spend some bucks. I took my wife there
for our anniversary, and with a before-dinner drink, a nice
wine, steaks (not the big ones), dessert, after-dinner drink,
and tip, it cost me over $200. It was nice, but it wasn't
that great.
