I've been challenged a number of times, the most recent was in a
multi-million dollar lawsuit against a major auto manufacturer that
resulted from a fatal collision my partner and I investigated over two
years ago. One of the attorneys didn't like something I said and the
fight was on. At least the jury enjoyed it and a few weeks later I
learned the verdict was favorable to my point of view. My partner was
also raked over the coals and had they not invoked The Rule I'd have
loved to have in their just to see it.

Perhaps on the semantics is all. That's something we've got to be
ultra careful of when in front of a jury. We can't expect them to
understand all the math so it has to be explained in terms they can
understand. Confusing them is a sure way to lose them.

IPTM has some good books on the subject. They're a bit pricey but
that's to be expected for books of this nature. They also do a number
of schools around the country and if you can manage to get into one
you should find it interesting. They teach in a very user friendly
manner.

Northwestern still does a few schools I think, at least they did up
until a few years ago. They pretty much pioneered the field from an
academic standpoint.

Texas A&M is also getting into it now and you don't have to be an
Aggie to sign up. I belong to a group of Texas reconstructionists
because there are no such groups in my state (too small I guess) and
they are affiliated with TAMU.
