Yeah, head-on a truck in his OSCA in the Mille Miglia a few years ago.
His widow told me they came around a corner at speed on a road with
stone walls on either side.  Truck in middle of road.  His last words 
were "Oh...oh!"

For any who don't know, an OSCA is a mid-fifties race car about the size of
an MGA.

Another speed related fatality, for those who ignore factors like trucks in the
middle of the road on a blind turn with no runout in the middle of a vintage 
event.
