Does the Beltway have any lengthy stretches with more than
8 continuous lanes?

Atlanta's I-285, a road very similar in character to I-495
(and almost identical in total length), has 10 continuous
lanes for the 13 miles between I-75 and I-85 on the northside
(plus the occassional extra exit-only lane).
