Okay, well, I just think that someone who's not paying attention to the traffic conditions,
or anything other than what's in his own little world is a greater hazard than someone who's
going faster than an arbitrary number who IS paying attention. Hell, you can be doing 30
mph and if you're not paying attention.........bad things can happen.

As for the driving test and making it harder, I'm for that because I am sick of seeing
stupid, idiotic, incompetent driving. And if I'm sick of it, you must be as well because
you spend more time on the road than I do. Raise the level of competency that's required to
drive and naturally, you will be able to raise the speed limit as well.

Now, as far as looking ahead goes, I've always tried to do that. Instead of focusing on
what's happening right in front of me, I try to get a view of what's going on down the
road. Not only does it help me avoid speeding tickets -- everyone, no matter how fast
they're going, hits the brakes when they see a cruiser -- but it's also a good way to keep
myself from getting in an accident. It's like skiing, where you're not thinking about the
turn you just made when you go down a course, you're looking two flags ahead.

And for stupid speeders who think that radar detectors are a perfect shield....they get what
they deserve.
