If you have a copy of my original post mentioned above, I would like
to have a copy of it as I crashed my hard drive sence I made that post

The original Franconia station was to built at Franconia Rd and the
CSX formerly RF&P Right of way. When the station was moved to its
present location south east of the Springfield Mall the Sringfield
Station located off Backlick Rd north of the Capital Beltway VA I 495
was dropped. The total system mileage remained the same. There were no
previsions to put in a junction east of the Van Dorn Station to
extend the line out the Norfork Southern right of way to that
location or beyond. Like the ones put in the south end of Pentagon
station for a line out Columbia Pk, and the one east of the West
Fall Church Station for the Dulles Airport route.
