I don't miss the point at all.  Mr. Weiser did not say that he found
that accidents were caused by tailgating or rapid changing of lanes.  If
that's what he meant, I am sure he would have said so.  What he really
said was "I've dragged too many dead bodies out of smashed cars to have
the least bit of sympathy for deliberate speeders."  I don't see there
any exception for those to speed safely in their own lane.
