The funny thing to me is, I've only had one red car, and it was hot-rodded, but I never got a ticket in it. It was a sleeper, for sure. (I don't count my minivan, which says it is red, but is actually a maroon/copper color- changer). I had a mid-year Corvette, white at one point and white metallic/blue at another, and got loads of tickets in it. I had a white T-Top Vette, and hardly got any tickets in it. My driving has hardly changed. I had a blue ZR1 at the same time as a blue Lincoln, and got about the same number of tickets in them, but more in my wifes silver G20. Mileage normalized. The biggest determinant actually appears to be the jurisdiction. LA cops and Long Beach cops are jerks, CHP used to be cool but has turned into zero-tolerance nerds. I JUST DON'T SEE HOW GOING 66 IN A 65 ZONE OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE IS UNSAFE!!!! > >DPH > -- These opinions are my own and not necessarily those of Information Quest or Pebble In The Sky http://www.informationquest.com mailto:jgarry@nospameiq.com http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/joel_garry Remove nospam to reply. mailto:joel_garry@compuserve.nospam.com "See your DBA?"
