At the very least, shutting down the existing interchange at SR 644, which
is in the heart of Springfield ... to have maybe 1/2 mile to shift three
lanes is stupid ...

A new interchange about one mile south of the existing one would give time
for everyone to settle in on I-95 before having to exit ...
