Actually the KKK was historically run by Democrats. It is only in
recent years when Louisiana Democrats threw David Duke out of the
Democrat party and went to court to prevent the Republicans from
doing the same, that you can find a current member of the KKK member
on the post-primary ballot of the Republican party at the national
level.

Wasn't it was Louisiana Democrats who supported Huey Long and Eddie
Edwards. Wasn't it Mississippi Democrats who murdered anti-racists.
Wasn't George Wallace of Alabama a Democrat. Wasn't Lester Maddox,
the infamous Governor of Georgia (no apologies if I misspelled) a
Democrat. And the beat goes on!!

Racial prejudice is not a political problem; it is a mental health
problem.
