Almost. One basic misconception that almost everybody seems to have is
that there is a "fast" lane and a "slow" lane. The left lane is the
*passing* lane, and should only be used for such.

I've thought about it for many years, and I believe I now have a
complete lane choice algorithm:

	Make a right lane change whenever you can.
	Make a left lane change only when you must.
	    The cases of "when you must" are three:
		To pass
		When the right lane is about to end (ie: exit only)
		To make a left exit

I wholeheartedly agree with your thought that courtesy and safety are
inextricably linked, BTW.
