I know of a well-publicized case where a man was riding in the back seat of a convertible. In front of hundreds of witnesses, he suffered a horrible death from head and neck injuries, and another passenger suffered life-threating inuries, even though the car was travelling no faster than 20 mph at the beginning of the accident, and when the man died it was travelling no faster than 5 mph. Of course, he wasn't wearing a seatbelt. The driverwas, however, and survived, which of course was little consolation to the victim or his family. I suppose one could conclude that convertibles are unsafe, even when the driver is a law enforcement agent, as was the case here. We can all learn from this, and start legislation to ban convertibles. Fortunately a dressmaker named Abraham Zapruder filmed the whole thing for our review. -- > B E N T L E Y < bentley AT digex DOT net A long frisbee throw from the pungent and lovely Potomac River www.access.digex.net/~bentley/remove-this-bot-blocking-part
