After 3 incidents where I have been hit (Not at fault, by the insurance
company, but each time they wanted to total my little sports car), I
decided that I was NOT going to lose the next time someone ran into me.

Now that I've owned an "evil, unfairly advantaged" Truck/ SUV for the last
6-7 years (before they became so "in") I've noticed that nobody wants to
be "behind the truck". People will speed up to keep you from changing
lanes if you indicate with your turn signal, and will floor it to get
around you if they need to exit in the next 50 yards, causing you to hit
the brakes in order to avoid a collision. Assholes that figure your truck
can brake in the same space their econo-cars can have no concept of
physics.

Even with a larger vehicle, I make a point to avoid being next to a semi,
but not to the point of being stupid. You have to consider what the semi
driver has to contend with.

Try to grasp reality!
