In a previous article, c.c.eiftj@06.usenet.us.com (Rahul Dhesi) says:

I try not to laugh at Induhviduals (it's not *their* fault) but
this one always gets at least a grin. Even if there was no traffic,
I don't turn right on red. Period. There's the one chance in ten
zillion that some yutz will blow thru the green from out of nowhere
and hit me, or more precisely I might not see him, or it may be a
"no turn on red" intersection but the sign blew down (got stopped
for this one!) or the sign might be 10 yards back where I can't
see it/didn't see it when coming up to the light.

And then there are the people who honk at me to turn right, when
I have no intention of turning right. I suppose if *they* want to
turn right, *everyone* wants to turn right, right?
That's when I seem to have trouble with the clutch when it turns green...

I walked out to my car. I unlocked the door, smoothly opened it and sat into
the rich velour seat. I buckled the belt tightly and closed the door with a
solid satisfying "click". I twisted the key and the 429 roared and throbbed
to life, and I ratcheted into First and... then I woke up for real.
