I don't have a problem with being behind a light truck that is moving right 
along, even when in a low car (I simply accept it).  But I really hate being 
behind diesels and smog-bombs, and will quite assertively drive to avoid the 
stink.  To me, it's like being punched in the nose, and I think I'm being 
nice not to hit back.

That's no excuse for them to act really stupid.  I've come to think that
not only are semi-drivers not brain surgeons, but often they are 
semi-conscious.  And yes, I do have a few friends who are professional
truck drivers.  The way they party, I have to wonder about the _bad_ ones.
