Reckless driving isn't worth it.  Exceeding the speed limit is
certainly not reckless under most conditions.  Not one of your little
stories take into account that compliance rates with speed limits have
been at less than 10% under the NMSL.  Apparently more than 90% of the
general populace disagrees with your take on speeding.

Funnily enough compliance rates are rising now that speed limits are
rising as well.  Perhaps speeders don't speed simply for the sake of
speeding?
