Sigh....  permit me to explain in greater detail so you can comprehend
without further embarrassing yourself.   Your statement that there was
no one within a mile is moot because there WAS someone within a
mile...... me!   You'd be surprised how often I hear some motorist use
exactly this line..., "but officer, there was no one around."  It
still never occurs to some of them that obviously there WAS someone
around.

Let's genuinely hope you drive better than you read.   Somehow I feel
