Gee, isn't that why we put those bozos up on Capitol Hill in the first
place?

Naah. Couldn't be. Makes too much sense.

So they're opportunistic vote mongerers if they vote for a popular change
near election time and bozos if they accurately reflect their constituency
any other time. I don't really see why anyone with a genuine sense of
public service would want to go to congress with such lousy support.

Incidently, if WE are putting bozos up there, then what do we expect?

Terry

Terry, I think another translation might be:

If a congressman uses ingenuity to push a popular cause through
that *I* am personally opposed to, then they are an opportunistic
vote mongerer. However, if this popular cause is something that
*I* am in favor of or neutral towards, then they accurately
reflect their constituency. It's human nature, I guess...

All I can say is that there are a lot of people who are grateful
to Congressman Wolf, all rhetoric aside.
