The election wasn't rigged. It is that simple. In 2000 Algore, Jr.
attempted an LBJ scheme and found out he was not as slick as LBJ. 
IOW, he couldn't pull it off.

I'm still amazed at how close the 2004 election was. Kerry is clearly
a self-centered "elite" New England moron. And he almost won.... That
just gives me more proof that New York, Los Angeles, San Fran, Boston,
and other large havens of "special people"  are friggin nuts.
