Point taken.

I personally think any one political discussion is slightly more on
topic
here than it would be in say, ny.general.

In other words, provided there's a local connection or at least
a knowing reference to the poster actually being a dc residenf
who is typically politics-obsessed, then there's room for discussion.

But cross-posting by cranks and flamers who think that this town/forum
is where their politicians get their mail is clearly right out.
