Paul Robinson (tdarcos@access1.digex.net) wrote: : No, he's got you this time. As long as people are mailing back recipes, : it is *not* a pyramid scheme and is not illegal. Spamming yes, illegal no. : Otherwise people who put ads in papers offering their recipes would be in : trouble, and Amway would have been indicted years ago. Amway WAS indicted years ago, in both the USA and in Canada. In the USA Amway had to change their marketing program; in Canada they had to restate what is "wholesale" and what is "retail" since their "distributors" are in actuality paying for the "privilege" of buying Amway products (most Amway distributors are, in fact, customers, not people who make any significant money actually reselling). As to this "Make Money At Home" scheme, it is INDEED illegal since it still uses the pyramid scheme, no matter what else is said.
