We have never been frivolous about war before the nation building era of Clinton. Russians have a very high regard for Russian lives, Russian tyrants do not. Tyrants never have much regard for the lives of those in their service. This can also often be said for Monarchs, Queen Victoria as an example. LBS's body counts were not dreamed up out of concern for American lives, rather they were a phony political way to claim victory while holding the armed forces back from what it could have and should have done. >
