Captain Hartsock, would you care to state precisely which statutes in

Perhaps.

Officer Hartsock, you might want to check a little more carefully into
what is written rather than immediately going into flame mode. I don't
like this sort of thing much either, but there is a significant
difference, whether you see it or not.

The Dave Rhodes 'MAKE.MONEY.FAST' scheme asked people to send money to
those on a list with nothing in return.

This particular variation involves asking people to write in for
recipes. If these people on the list actually do mail out recipes in
response to the $2 sent to them, then this is not a solicitation for a
criminal conspiracy and saying such may in fact be libelous.

All it takes is to show that these people do not have copies of these
recipes available for mailing. If they do, then it's not a crime unless
Ohio has made advertising for written materials a crime (in view of the
case of _Mapp v. Ohio_, I wonder...)
