I have an old Sharp organizer, model OZ-5600, cable long lost. The first dealer who had a cable tried to peddly fancy software with it -- and then cancelled my order when I refused to buy that, too. (I complained to Sharp, which had sent a dealer list.) I have another dealer located. I think. The organizer said nothing about special software when I bought it. If I need any, just to get my addressbook (maybe also other) data into a form the Palms & clones can use, I'll only need it once.
