Dancehall Tuesdays
proudly presents
A Special Tuesday Edition featuring live in concert
BABY CHAM
TUESDAY JULY 3rd, 2001

Dancehall’s “Big Gun” Shoots Out as The Crossroads features
BABY CHAM Live Tuesday, July 3, 2001

Baby Cham (born Dameon Beckett) has emerged as one of the most celebrated
deejays in recent times. With tunes like "Many Many", "Funny Man", "Gallong Yah
Gal" and the anthemic "Ghetto Pledge", Baby Cham has definitely established
himself as a big gun in the dancehall business.

He started his recording career at the age of seventeen with his first song
called "Shoot Out" for Shelly Power. In 1995 he recorded the combination tune
"No Coco Mania" (with Spragga Benz) for Donovan Germain's "Penthouse" label and
saw it becoming a big hit in Barbados. Late 1995 the Jamaican public began to
show Baby Cham some attention due to release of the Dave Kelly produced song
"The Mass (Firebun)", which actually became Baby Cham's very first hit single
in Jamaica. From then Baby Cham's association with Dave Kelly proved a winning
formula as the hits kept coming.

Enjoy Baby Cham live at The Crossroads on Tuesday, July 3rd. The evening will
be hosted by WPFW’s Tony Carr, with musical selections from the Vibemaster,
