Reports and telephone calls have been coming in concerning patients being abandoned while being treated with Ibogaine. The persons providing these treatments often tell their client/patients that they have been trained by Howard Lotsof, the discoverer of Ibogaine's ability to interrupt addiction to narcotics, stimulants and other drugs. Mr. Lotsof has only trained doctors D.C. Mash and J. Sanchez-Ramos at the University of Miami school of medicine, Drs. E. Della Sera, C. Smith and S. Alvarado of Centro Medico Paitilla in the Republic of Panama and Prof. Dr. J. Bastiaans (retired) in The Netherlands. Ibogaine, though usually safe, may have adverse reactions in a minority of patients and should only be administered in a hospital and by a doctor. That individuals with no medical experience will administer Ibogaine to patients and then abandon them when medical or psychiatric difficulties arise is without ethics or concern for the patient's safety. If any person should attempt to provide you with Ibogaine and say they were trained by Mr. Lotsof, please report the incident and ask for confirmation from: NDA International, Inc., POB 100506, Staten Island, NY 10310. Information on Ibogaine may be obtained at the Ibogaine web page. http://www.ibogaine.Desk.nl
