All: Boy did I really hose up this time. Just finished installing A D N and X via floppy. Then I logged in and changed roots shell from BASH to CSH...only I miss typed something in the /etc/passwd file. Since there are no other users on the system, it seems that I can't get back in the system since that shell doesn't exist. There are no other users and I cant log on as root. So, the question is....How do I get back into the system? is there some sort of single user mode that I dont know about? Thanks in advance Steve
