Hello.
My US Robotics/3Com PCI Fax Modem Model 5610 worked fine in Red Hat, but
now it won't work in my freshly installed Mandrake 8.2.
/var/log/messages revealed:
PCI: Found IRQ 9 for device 01:0b:0 sharing IRQ 9 with 00:1f:2
and
Redundant entry in pci_table
So I ran lspci -vv and it revealed that the device sharing IRQ 9 was my
USB Controller.
I'm over my head with this stuff and need some guidance about what to
try next. I'm hesitant to monkey with the hardware because I don't want
to break the system any further. Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks,
--Damon
