610 Seagate IDE drive, Boca Board IDE driver card & cables, Slackware
Linux pre-installed, $250.00

This new Seagate 8272A (630meg unformatted) drive has perhaps 50 hours
on it since it came out of the bag. The Boca Board is the IDE Plus
model, which can support 2 IDE harddrives, 2 floppies, 2 serial and 2
parallel interfaces. Comes with all cabling. As configured, it's set for
secondary IDE, no ports, and would make a perfect adapter for an add-on
Linux system. If you've got a standard motherboard with one slot and a
power-supply plug to spare, you can just drop it in as is, reset your
BIOS to recognize it and you're ready to go. Complete with original
manual.

If you decide that you want it, just let me know what kind of computer
you have and I'll install the Linux. This will be a semi-complete Linux
system, with the A, AP, D, N, X, and XAP sets on it, ready for
networking with some tweaking. Also includes assorted GNU goodies such
as the 'ssh/sshd' package for secure networking, MESA graphics
libraries, the 'tycoon' point and click iconic tool-bar for application
invocation, and Openwin installed as the X-window manager. Includes a
special how-to file to get you up and on the network as soon as
possible. Comes with GNU compiler and all of the applications you've
come to expect from Slackware Linux, with the exception of the Tex
package and X-application Development packages. This is largely a clone
of the working internet domain host 'earthops.org' and also has working
NCSA 'httpd', and all of the standard Perl apps that come with that.

Also, if anyone's trying to get a Harvest server up and running, a Linux
host is ideal for this purpose. Anyone needing a Harvest multi-site
search engine/indexing implimentation, let me know.

Also, Slackware X configs and general tweaking available.
