I've been to the Knoppix FAQs and can't find how to do this. Can you help? I am the volunteer web editor at my kids' school. This is not because I am highly qualified--it's because I'm the only one willing. I login to the school's net with Novell. I can instead boot a school PC using Knoppix but from there I can't see how to connect to the Novell network and on to the internet. The school's net is administered by Jeremy, a kind of ciruit-admin. He rides from school to school in the county whacking windows bugs. I don't think I can count on him for help. (I told him that I couldn't open .html files in my home directory with a web browser. He noted "that's not right" and then left the building. My guess is he's overworked.) I'd rather not edit web pages with WordPad or FrontPage (shudder--wtf did it do THAT for?) but I have had no network admin experience. If I can't get Knoppix to connect, I am stuck with Win2000 while on site. I've used Linux for about two years now, but mainly Gnome and bash. KDE is like using someone else's TV remote. Any guru's out there that can help? TIA, Damon
