I've been able to completely hotsync my Palm m515 on its USB cradle to
my linux box using jpilot.  There's even an AvantGo plugin available
for it... now that I have that, I don't need anything out of Redmond. :)

I've got mine set on /dev/usb/ttyUSB1.
