Hi Guys, I come from Scotland UK and I will be going to watch my first game in Washington when the skins play the cowboys in December. I would appreciate it if you guys could help me with some concerns that I have. Can you recommend a hotel that will be easy to commute to and from Dulles airport and Fedex Field (I have been told to try the Washington Plaza, does anyone know anything about the hotel?? and can I commute easily to and from) The other issue that I have is that I could fly home on the first of January, will there be transport for me to get to the airport, i.e. cab, metro or bus. Now here comes the tricky question, "tickets" I have been looking at some websites (what website would you recommend to buy from) for tickets and they say that some of the seats have restricted viewing, how bad is the view? The area I was looking at was section 218/219 lower level sideline. All information is greatly appreciated Thanks Hoggie

Well, Welcome to Washington (in advance) and you picked about the worst place to come into. Not that Dulles is a bad airport, but it's completely on the opposite side of DC. If you can arrange it, you should come into BWI which has some great hotels, and is right off of I-95 which will take you straight to FedEx. In terms of a clock, Dulles is at 9:00, FedEx is at 3:00 and BWI is about half way between 1:00 and 2:00. From BWI there is a bus that takes you to the Greenbelt Metro Station and from there you take two trains and a 10 minute walk to FedEx. From Dulles, there's a bus (http://www.wmata.com/timetables/dc/5a.pdf) that takes you L'Enfant Plaza Station and you can get the train out to FedEx from there. I would definitely recommend getting tickets straightened out before committing to your flight. Redskins games have been sold out since Lyndon Johnson was President (the 1960's) and Dallas is THE game to go to. So even if you would have people begging you to take their tickets for other games, Dallas is a biggee. I hope you have a wonderful time, and I hope you see the Redskins blow the Cowboys out, because there's nothing like being in the middle of a Redskin win over Dallas. -- Brian J.
