Just because you don't smell it (at the time) doesn't mean you're
not breathing it.  Far too often I leave a restaurant and notice
that my clothes, hair, skin, and belongings reek of tobacco smoke --
a smell which was masked indoors by food ordors.

(So how come the food ordors don't cling afterwards like the tobacco smoke?)
