    MAHANOY CITY, Pa. (Rueters) -- Dignitaries
from all over the world are expected to attend
Friday's funeral for Ed Conrad who took his
own life in spectacular fashion on Sunday.

    Conrad committed suicide on the front lawn
of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington,
D.C., by deliberately allowing himself to be eaten
alive by one of those pesky Black Holes.

Ed was an American hero because he discovered
petrified human remains between coal veins
which completely destroyed Darwin's Theory 0f
Man's Evolution.

    Lest we forget, he also proved that DEATH DOES
NOT EXIST.

    As for Ed's ghastly suicide, this neat photo of
his final moments will appear on the front page of
he National Enquirer in its next edition.

    Police sources say it may NOT have been a suicide
after all because a few eyewitnesses seemed to hear Ed
muttering 'HELP!" just before his head disappeared.

     The pallbearers, who will lift the casket from the hearse
to the edge of stripping pit, will be Supreme Court
Chief Justice John G. Roberts and Justices Sonia
Sotomayor, Stephen G. Breyer, Samuel A. Alito,
Elena Kagan, Clarence Thomas, Antonin Scalia,
Anthony Kennedy and Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

   World-wide celebrities to be on hand to pay their
final respects will include Pope Benedict XIV, Paul
Ryan, David Letterman, Mitt Romney, Stephen Colbert,
Rush Limbaugh, Charles Manson, Kate Upton,
Payton and Eli Manning, Stephen Hawking, Madonna,
Billy Shakespeare, Barbara Walters, Barack Obama,
Richie "Don't Call me a Dick' Cheney, Lt. Dengle
and members of the Reno 911 police department,
Ellen Degeneres, Sponge Bob Square Pants and
Adolf Hitler.

   Many folks have long complained that Ed's
Web pages were nothing but long-winded bullshit
but we -- the smart ones, just like yourself ---
certainly know otherwise.

    Oh, we forgot to mention. Ed's saintly body
-- that is, whatever remained of it after being
swallowed alive -- will be dumped into an abandoned
anthracite stripping pit where the now long-gone
village of Jackson's Patch was once located.
