I have found that I was always able to schedule a tour for a group within a month or two. I have attended the open house held each of the last several years. It has not always been an annual event, and I remember seeing something last spring indicating they would not be holding one this spring. After sitting for over 2 hours in the rain to have the person return to move an illegally parked car that was blocking several of us I think I will probably attend the scheduled tours in the future. They cover almost as much as the open house and the docents provide an excellent tour. If you are in the Windsor Lock's area of New England, the New England Air Museum which is located on the back side of the airport contains alot of very excellent exhibits. This is the museum that was struck by a tornado in 197x. It has been completely rebuilt. The $6.00 admission is well worth the money.
