Having grown up in the Dayton area (within view of Wright-Patterson AFB) I can confirm this, and add that not only is there an SR-71 in the Modern Flight Gallery, there is, if memory serves, a YF-12 in the Museum annex. It was where the Blackbird resides now until the AF passed out Blackbirds all around the country, including one to the AFM. Kevin O'Brien gryphon@access.digex.com
